Does anyone know if there are any fairs up and coming in Yorkshire?

No problem! I've been to both fairs, Leeds has around 6 or so dealers and I think Sheffield was similar (although it was 2 years ago I went to that one).

Don't forget your shoe horn Andy, just to make sure you can squeeze in.

I'm on nights Christmas week, so although I'd like to try and to Sheff fair, it might be a non starter.

Sheffield needs to be in a bigger room, and get some different/more dealers in as well.

I'm sure there's scope for another fair in Sheffield Sept/Oct time.

Come on Jim, you can't beat a bit of argy bargy......

I'll probably go up to Leeds, although the main problem with the Leeds one is simply that, it's almost 100% Leeds.

The Sheffield one is normally excellent but you're right, given the size of the Royal Vic, the room is not exactly spacious.

Currently, there is no scope for a few more dealers (I know one or two who'd like a stall), it's a little bit of a closed shop, I believe the spaces are apparently limited, and scarcer than a parking space at the Childrens!

Rumour has it, that certain people don't want the Sheffield one to get too big in case it distracts from the North West fair which is the day after.

That in itself is a great pity, I've come away with some crackers (no pun intended) over the last few years.

Maybe next year, sheffield will get another, there was a plan to hold one at your place this year but it had to be cancelled, something to do with the electric bill not being payed. Laughing
