Do you get mad, when someone makes a last minute bid for something you are selling on ebay, then they disappear for days, then finally they decide to pay for the item. I always try and pay asap. It's good manners.

Very frustrating indeed, especially when you've allocated time to package up and send and you hear nothing for 5 days. They then have the nerve to mark you down for speed of delivery, if they can be arsed to give you feedback at all!

I always pay instantly if I win something and I am at home when the auction ends or certainly the same day if I have been out.

I can't see the point of waiting days to pay but I suppose you may get a buyer who is expecting a sale themselves and waiting for money to come into their Paypal account.

But what about people who go away on holiday and don't have the courtesy to let you know that payment will be a week or so late. I waited nearly 2 weeks once for a payment and set the non paying bidder action in progress. He replied shortly after saying, sorry I have been away for the last 2 weeks.

And what about feedback. I am sure it's not just me that is seeing an increasing number of buyers just not bothering to leave any. Apart from anything else I like to know that a programme or ticket has arrived safely. I usually contact buyers after a while to ask them if the item turned up safely and to confirm receipt and/or leave feedback. It surprises me how many people do not bother to reply.

And don't get me started on the lack of response from some members of this superb site.

I have taken the trouble to start to go through all my spare programmes and check them against wants lists. I have then sent a PM telling them what I have found. Most people respond with either a yes please or sorry but I now have that programme. But some people do not even bother to reply at all when I know that the message has been opened. What's that all about?

I'd better stop moaning now, I am off to Tiverton shortly for my first pre season match.

Works both ways.

9/10 times i pay instantly waiting to recieve your item does me especially as the seller has stated must pay within 24 hours.
If they do you should expect the item in the same amount of time.

I think as long as they pay eventually thats the main thing, yes, its frustrating waiting but I dont bother packing items until theyre paid for, that way your not wasting your time.

The REALLY annoying t***s are those that dont pay, I have at least 4 or 5 a month that dont pay at all, then youve got the pain in the a**e situation where youve got to mess about cancelling the transaction, waiting for Ebay to confirm its cancelled, getting the fees refunded, relisting it etc etc.

Of course youve also then got the worry of the buyer leaving you a negative because youve had the audacity to raise a none paying bidder action against them !!

I always pay within 24 hours (most of the time it's immediately after the auction ends), and the most annoying sellers are those who don't post out the items for a good 3 or 4 days afterwards.

If I have been good enough to ensure very prompt payment, I would also expect the seller to send the items promptly as well.

Well i have had enough. I have withdrawn items with no bids. I'm going to stop selling other stuff i was going to list. I might use sports auctions. I'm owed over £150, for stuff and i can't even get a reply. I'm fed up with it all.
