Ebay Users Beware

I have had my ebay account hijacked and over 300 100% positive feedback lost, had been getting messages of late asking where a buyers item is(Mine is buyers account only), The messages appear in junk mail but was curious so opened them.

This is the message:

Dear member,

Where is my item?

I made 5 days ago payment and no news from you.

Still waiting infos.

Any email that comes from ebay always has your user name in the title.

NEVER EVER open any emails that do not.

Have you reported this to ebay Mark. Their helpline is meant to be much improved.

I had similar done to me about 5 years ago - someone ended up trying to sell hydro jets on my site! It was pure chance that I found out about it, logging on late one night to find a number of emails asking for info about it. Ebay sorted it out when I informed tham, but I think they should be doing a lot more to actually prevent it happening in the first place.

Yeah i had a similar problem with phones and electrical goods on my selling account and people bombarding me with questions over items that weren't mine,reported it and had to shut account and re-open,seems it happens a lot.
