i am considering sending off a Coronation Cup final Programme Celtic v Hibernian 1953 for professional repair/restoration .. what i want to know is this a good idea? will it take value off the item , even though its in poor condition , would welcome any comments and if any collectors can suggest a professional i could email then even better . _________________ HAIL HAIL THE CELTS ARE HERE |

Eamonn Fitzmaurice is your man dont delay send it of tomorow,has done some work for me on Blackburn late 60s progs with Team/Changes Half / Time writen in and have been returned in MINT condition ,realy is a top guy.email him at info@progpres.co.uk,take it from me you will not be dissapointed with his work.he has a site at Programme Preservation.Will not rip you of either. |

cheers its in really really poor conditon pages themselves in good conditon but no staples so loose pages and other defects ... whats his standard charge? and would i just email him ... send programme off and wait for him to get back to me and pay by paypal? _________________ HAIL HAIL THE CELTS ARE HERE |

agree with everything said, he will also tell you whether you are wasting your time.
He is 100% trustworthy and reliable, does have quite a long waiting list usually. I have never been disappointed.

Don't worry about the staples. He even put new staples in for my programmes. I can't possibly think for one moment how a restored programme by a professional can devalue a programme. If you use Eamonn , be prepared to wait a few weeks , but well worth it. I'd hurry if i were you , as i'm about to send off a few more items soon. |
