Knew her from when she ran the Bolton Fair and the Bolton Open Day back in the early 20000s. she was Bolton through and through. she had a good innings as she must have been in her late 80s early 90s.

RIP ruth.

Very sad news.

Ruth was always helpful whenever I spoke to her trying to track down Trotters v Potters programmes and teamsheets.

I sent her a message 11 days ago and she replied that she'd been in hospital for a while.

Thoughts are with Leon and her family and friends.

Paul

Sad news indeed, Ruth was responsible for bringing many collectors into the hobby and always helpful, fond memories of the Bolton fairs a few years back.

Can I echo everyone else and say it's sad news that Ruth has passed away. Spoke with her many times either at Bolton, or when she came to Fratton Park. Always helpful with programmes and teamsheets, I woukd make a point of finding her ar Bolton for a chat. RIP Ruth.
