Sellotape staines.

Dose anyone know how to remove sellotape stains from press cuttings on old scrapbook ephemera.

Do you mean the Sellotape itself, the sticky residue or the actual stain?

The tape itself and the glue/residue are quite straightforward (plenty of YouTube videos available). The underlying stain, I think that means the paper is permanently affected, especially with flimsy newspaper from 50+ years ago. A restorer might be able to apply colouring or paint I guess to match the rest of the paper but not sure what that would look like or the cost involved...
