Help needed with England photo

[Five and In]

I need some help with identifying some of the players in the attached photo please.
I think I've got to a point where I'm second guessing myself

It's obviously an England squad from the very early 60's and the focal point is Bobby Charlton attempting to break his wrists by smashing a football with a golf club, but who are the others?

From left to right no 4 is Bobby Robson and no 8 is Ron Flowers.

No 2 looks like Peter Bonnetti, but he didn't play for England before 1966 and Bobby Robson's last appearance was in 1962 so it's doubtful they were ever in the same squad.

My other guesses are no 1 Alan Hodgkinson?, no 3 either Don Howe or Gerry Hitchins, no 7 Peter Swan or John Connelly and no 9 Johnny Haynes?

As for no 5 (partly obscured) I have no idea.

1 Bobby Smith
2 Peter Bonetti
3 Jimmy Armfield
4 Bobby Robson
5 not sure yet (Tony Kay maybe?)
6 Bobby Charlton
7 Ray Wilson
8 Ron Flowers
9 maybe Johnny Haynes

Could be a Football League XI (or IX) or some such

You could be right about the FLXI theory.

I'm sure I've seen this image before somewhere, but can't find it online anywhere, so I think it's in a book I've read at some point and that'd be almost impossible to find.

Having touted this around (Twitter) as I really wasn't sure about a few of my ID's, it looks like East Lower has come up with what's almost been agreed by the Twitterati, with one or two where the jury it still out.

3. Ray Parry probably
4. Bobby Robson

6. Bobby Charlton
7. Ray Wilson but may be Joe Shaw
8. Ron Flowers
9. Jimmy Armfield

Must admit, it does look like Peter Bonetti to me (2).

I've done a little digging and I think it is part of the England squad for the Home International Championship match against Scotland at Hampden Park on the 9th April 1960. They all played except Bobby Robson who was the reserve.

Someone else has suggested it's John Connelly, not Ray Wilson, but they both played in that game so you pays your money, you takes your choice.

Someone else suggested George Eastham between "Bonetti" and Robson but I think he needs glasses.
