There have probably been a few lows for your club and hopefully one or two highs. Looking on facebook earlier today reminded me of my favourite moment when Stoke City were promoted from the old second division to the first division at the end of season 1962-63. The highlight of the game was when Stanley Matthews scored the second goal in a 2-0 win over Luton and virtually meant that Stoke City were assured of promotion to the top flight after an absence of 10 years. Happy days and a wonderful memory that has stayed with me . What is your happiest memory and then maybe we can turn to a few lows, but maybe after the virus crisis.

One for me certainly was my all-time footballing hero Derek Dougan scoring a hat-trick on his home debut v Hull and going on to be a cult hero at Molineux for the next eight years, folk law has it that there were seven coach loads of fans from his former club Leicester City who came to Wolverhampton that day there certainly was a smattering of blue and white scarfs on the South Bank enclosure that glorious summers day.

Watching Nick Powell scoring, arguably, one of the greatest Wembley goals ever. Play off final 2012 against Cheltenham.
35° in the shade, having sipped a few shandies with 3000 odd Alex fans in The Green Man.
What a day!!

This is an easy one for me. the 2nd of May 1990. Rovers v C**y If we win we are promoted. If the reds win they are champions. A packed Twerton Park saw us win the game and one week later beat Blackpool to secure the title. I think it took a week before my voice recovered.

16 May 1990; Division Two play off semi-final second leg at the County Ground, Swindon.

Swindon had won the first leg 2-1 at Ewood Park, went 2-0 up in the first half of the second leg and despite Blackburn getting 1 back in the second half, we won 4-2 on aggregate, and i knew i was going to see my team at Wembley for the first time.

Ha ha, I was at both games and can clearly remember that Blackburn were the better team in the first leg. Good times for the Town. I was lucky enough to be at Wembley in1969 - a very precious memory.

Beating Liverpool 4-3 in the FA Cup semi final at Villa Park, April 1990. It came 6 months after losing 9-0 to them and then being without our star man Ian Wright who broke his leg in a tackle with Barry Venison in the return league game at Selhurst. Revenge was so sweet and I have never felt like that before or since, hugging everyone, kissing people. Some moments have come close, but that one seems like yesterday.
