I love these events like today, a big thank you to John Holroyd who is responsible for programme fairs returning to Scotland and to Douglas Stevenson for bringing them to Glasgow. I was wracked with nerves for the first two but the fear of being a flop is long gone now and the genuine enjoyment of being in a good atmosphere with fellow collectors has taken over.
My friend Derek Hunter misses out today but my pal John (Wee John) Flynn is taking a stall and is a well liked and respected seller on ebay and is giving me a run to the fair today.

Glad you got a lift Eck, the thought of you walking through Glesga with a shopping trolley full of programmes was somewhat disconcerting!
