Just over 2 years ago I attended an auction where one lot was
21 Leeds Homes 1960/61 plus Blackpool LC & Raith Fr.
It went for £240.

Today on eBay 15 Leeds homes same season went for £670.

Do Forum members still believe modern programmes have no value?

An interesting item this one.

I was also watching this, and can only think that it included a postponed issue.

Blackpool league cup game has gone for some high money in the past but also less than £20 at times!!

Other issues from that season would range from a couple of quid to £40 ish, so it must a postponed issue.

The two bidders, (I beleive its them) are complete Leeds homes back to 45/6 as a minumum, they would not need "standard" issues, and there is certainly not a profit in selling "standard issues" at that price.
That's over £50 a programme....

Same seller had a nice lot of early 50s which included 2 rare issues, I guess also there was a postponed issue, the seller openly told people asking a question what was in there, don’t know why he didn’t list the issues

According to my records only Luton & Scunthorpe were postponed.

I understood that the Luton issue was common.

Does that make the Scunthorpe worth £550?

Absolutely! I cannot imagine the two bidders would be interested in the other issues so I would say that the Scunthorpe issue is £600....

If I am correct in the bidders identities then they need very little and can see why they went after this one.

Scunthorpe home postponed is rather quite rare, I don't have a copy. Same with 62-63 postponed at our place.
