It wouldn't be Alex Ferguson's 1st game in charge would it?

It is indeed Alex Fergusons 1st game in charge, Oxford won the game!!!! What a difference 20 years makes.

Programmes from Oxfords time in the old 1st Division are pretty easy to come by so can't understand that selling for that amount.

Oxford's 1st game at the Kassam has been on Ebay twice over the last couple of weeks and both sold for over £30, one going for more than Oxford's 1st league game in 1962 against Lincoln.

Laughing

There's currenty an Arsenal v Bradford PA 1948 FA Cup programme due to end and bidding has reached £50.

It was quite amusing watching this when there was another issue that's been there for several weeks, similar condition, for £25 Buy it now. Someone eventually sussed it and bought it this afternoon.

Blimey. I think we have a few of these at Rovers. Will have to check and get one on ebay if we have.

Quote sellers discription:
"100% authentic with original adverts and mix of Black and white/colour photographs"

Original adverts? Better check mine, just in case someones glued in some none original adverts when my back was turned, Sherlock

Black & White & Colour photographs? Is there another type that this seller knows about and not told anyone? Confused

I just can not believe this joker for the life of me.
Perhaps he thought Crystal Palace may have gone out of business by now but to ask this price for a programme that will be no more then £3 is verging on ridiculous. Shocked

The one from mol was only £2.50 and is stil available, cant see the Palace one selling out, so will be easy enough to come by. You would have to be daft to fall for buying from this 'power seller'.
