I recently took a punt on the pictured Portsmouth Post card which is believed to detail the handwriting and signature of Bob Jackson the Manager of the "Back to Back" First Division Champions in 1948-49, 1949-50. Could any members (Particularly Pompey members!) confirm the signature as Bob's and put my mind at rest that it is the genuine article? I've got several examples of the Championship Players but this is the first item I have managed to secure containing the signature of our famous Manager!

Once again ive fallen into the trap of reading one of Phil or Pete's
Posts , then I spend the next 3 hours looking at the massive array
of memorabilia that they have on their flicker sites !! Awesome

Keep looking as I will be uploading football mails from 1946 to 1953 inc match reports, reserve reports, picts etc..........soon.
