A lot of you may be well aware of this but at Crewe Alex they have a really good little programme shop. They have programmes from this season as well as some from years and years ago. You can buy a programme pack where you get ten random programmes for just a quid.

I assume Harold Finhc still carries out these duties. He has an end of season sale at Gresty Road every year at one particular game.

It's certianly open on match days as I have been in it 2 or 3 times when Hull have visited for a game. On the other side of the road, you have the famous and rather tasty fish and chip shop - a place worth visiting too Very Happy

Crewe is rather strangely my favourite away day, decent choice of boozers, the world famous chippy on the corner, no hassle from the home fans, the police or stewards, and probably the one away day that you can safely wear colours.

Yes - Harold is still there. Harold can be a grumpy old git but 50+ years of service to the club (most of those as programme editor!) gives him that privilage Smile

There also couple of other very knowlegable guys in there and the selection is pretty good.

The shop also has a good selection of badges too for anyone who is interested.

It is only open on match days and its easy to miss if you are not aware of it (no sign - just an open door to your left as you look at the main ticket office).
