Chelsea training photos - ID's needed

As mentioned on the other thread, I got hold of a few Chelsea photos, all stamped but with no other details on the back. 3 different press stamps too so I'm not certain they are all Chelsea, on the same day, although they could be......

Here they are with my comments & observations

#1 John Harris far left. But if that's Chelsea, where are the famous players? Roy Bentley? Johnny McNicholl? Ken Armstrong? etc. Not present. The plot thickens........



#2 Same day as above, same kit being worn, and same press stamp (Barratts). Harris jumping with one of the training group above, probably.



#3 At the Bridge, some exercises going on. But note they are all wearing different footwear. So is this the same group as #1? I think John Harris is one of the faces right at the back, looking on. Stamped by Keystone in red.



#4 This may be at the Bridge but this is a different group, all roll-necks etc. It may be Johnny McNicholl second left - maybe. But who are the others? Stamped Keystone in black.

Been reading about John Harris. While still a player in 55/6, he started coaching Croydon Amateurs. Given the apparent absence of Chelsea faces in the top 3 photos, what chance, I wonder, of them being Croydon Amateurs players on a day trip to Stamford Bridge? The report says that the Amateurs' players weren't used to the intensity of the old pro's training methods - so could this be what's happening here, I wonder?

Just a thought.
