gkb take their 2nd Predictor League Title in three years with a narrow victory over Sellsell39 with three games to go it was all square but the mightymariners and the plucky pilgrims were decisive.

THE GRAND FINAL:

Sellsell39 (Ipswich Town) 7-9 gkb (Sheffield United)

RVD's opening salvo proved to be the difference with Mark Bunns og helping RVD to a maximun 6 pts at the emirates. Big praise to the gallant losers Littlewiggy.

THE CUP FINAL

Littlewiggy (Newport County) 7-12 Ruudvandriver (Leeds United)

A big Thank you to all those who entered this season in both the League and the Cup. Hopefully will see you all next season. In the meantime enjoy the Euro's.

Best regards Sharrowblade

Resting my best side during the entire league season and concentrating on the cup turned out to be the right decision Smile

I'd like to thank my Chairman, supporters and sponsors plus of course my wife and two girlfriends without whom none of this would have been possible as they allowed me the time to study stats on a Friday evening. Most of all though thank you to Sharrow for another excellent season's work, probably a little more time consuming than we imagine, nice one mate Thumbs Up

Congratulations Ruud, you were a fine and worthy opponent mate.
Class told in the end.

My lads thoroughly enjoyed the heady ride to the final, but unfortunately froze on the big day, despite being able to see the carrot at the end of the tunnel.

I knew those white suits were a mistake.

We're as sick as a parrott mate, schoolboy defending ultimately cost us and come the end there were some tired legs out there.

I should have paid more heed to that 'Good Luck' telegram that Jimmy Sirrel sent me, where he said ... "If ye dinnae score ye dinnae win."

Handsome Jimmy was right.

Well played mate!

Thank you Wiggy, no shame in second!

I forgot to thank Mark Bunn and Nathan Arnold, quite literally the difference
