Sometimes you feel like giving up the stall when you are not very busy but today the sun shone and the people came out. my best day for many a while and lots of faces new and old. Sold a couple of tasty items, the 1959 European final and the match between East Germany and England 1963.
Lots of programmes brought in as well but support the market and the stall will last. Newcastle Under Lyme North Staffordshire by the Nat West bank between 9 and 3. Lots of programmes to choose from. Please contact 07580143697 BOB.

I usually find stalls at Antiques & Collectors' Fairs most weekends, have built up a little circuit of fairs in Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire, Surrey and Essex, and have had some very enjoyable and worthwhile days at them.

You never know who you will see at them, and what weird and wonderful things will sell. I've also got about half-a-dozen or so regulars who come and find me at fairs when I'm in their areas (one guy has spent about £700-£800 with me since he first saw me at a Fair in October, and when I'm looking for bits to top-up stock try and find items which I know will be of interest to him)

I have a stall at one in Teddington tomorrow, and these others lined up through May & June

It is certainly the regulars at your stall that keep you in business. I have made quite a few friends since going into collecting, buying and selling programmes. I have learned a lot about the subject and there is still a lot to learn. Many of my regulars are pleased at the items I regularly turn up for them. I do not like to throw anything away and have saved some collections from being taken to the tip. It is always a good feeling to give someone something they have been after for a while and make a little cash at the same time. I have a few hundred Crewe Alexandra programmes to sort through that were brought in yesterday, dating from 1971 to 1990s. Always with a large stock of Stoke City games dating from the late 60s to 2000 should you be in need of any. It is a good idea to frequent the Antique and Collector's fairs and networking is so important. Keep the hobby alive and well, good luck.
