Hi all,

For those of you interested in issues from other clubs I have just rebuilt my Wrexham Football Programme Archive website and the new version is now live.

The site has been given a lick of paint to hopefully make it look a little more modern. There is also a new archive section that contains scans from inside many programmes from 1945/46 to date.

If my maths are correct the site now contains images of:
- 4,848 programme covers
- 265 programmes part or fully scanned with 2,622 internal pages available to read
- 122 tickets
- 114 fanzine covers

If anyone can help fill any of the gaps listed in the "Can You Help?" section please do get in touch.

The site can be viewed here:
www.wrexhamprogrammes.com

For those of you who prefer Flickr, most of the cover images are on my Flickr site as well:

Happy browsing!

Absolutely superb - very jealous of how good it looks. Just spend a good hour exploring it!

(just a shame its about Wrexham Laughing )

Would love to know how long you think it took to put this together and what level of "website design" skill you have to know if its something I even have a chance of doing with Crewe.

ps the way CAFC are going we will be playing you again very soon!

As someone that puts hours into my own site I can truely appreciate the efforts you've gone through on the site.
It certainly does look more 'modern' than the previous version - great content in there as well.

A great site to be proud of mate.

Thanks for the feedback folks Smile

kcs - your site was one of the ones that originally inspired me to start my own. Little did I know how much of my life I would lose!

houghmartin - I use a tool called Weebly to build the site which is very easy to use. I've not had to use any code on the new version. The time is all in the scanning of programmes. I've got a reasonably decent scanner but it takes around a minute to scan one page and get the next one ready. More than happy to share the more detail if you are interested. Drop me an email at [email protected] if you would like to talk specifics.

A fantastic website and a great achievement to get what you have already on-line. Smile

Excellent site there. Great for me to see the Welsh Cup games against non League teams. Good luck with filling the gaps.
