Anyone remember a TV programme from the mid-70's where footballers showed off their skills in what i think was a pre-season tournament. I am sure it was played at Bristol City - think it was called "All in the Game"

Anyone remember this or have any details of the tournament?

Details of teams involved and any programmes etc. for the tournament would also be appreciated.

It was a 7 a side tournament played at Bristol City, here is the programme

I do not think it was a success going forward as it had been played for the season before or so.

One of my earliest memories was attending the Port vale West Bromwich Albion game, which was a friendly to celebrate the opening of the home team's floodlights in 1958. The lower division side, Port Vale won by 5 goals to three but the memory that sticks with me, besides the brilliance of the lights was the appearance at half time of a young teenager David Burnside, who came into the centre circle. He kept the ball up for an age using different parts of his body and went down a treat. I could never get more than six without the ball touching the ground, great skill though, but I don't know about his football career.
