Un-identified Portsmouth Player c.1905/10 era ?

Calling all Pompey fans, could any one help me identify the player in the postcard below.

The Reverse is signed " To Nellie from Eddie". was a Nellie his WAG....surely not?



Any clues would be really appreciated.

Looking at

the crest does not seem to appear until 1913 so it may be a bit later than 1910.

Assuming that 1914-18 was a period of very little football.

Maybe it's some time after 1918.

We will get there......maybe someone is related to Nellie?
