Blackpool Lancashire Senior Cup programmes required

I am after the following Blackpool Lancashire Senior Cup programmes and for a lot of them confirmation that a programme actually exists.

These are all for games played at Bloomfield Road.

If anyone has copies that are not for sale I wouldn't mind a scan.

15/10/47 - Burnley (require confirmation of issue)
27/4/49 - Man U.
9/11/49 - Rochdale (require confirmation of issue)
24/10/51 - Everton (require confirmation of issue)
23/1/52 - Preston (require confirmation of issue)
28/10/53 - Burnley
14/3/56 - Preston (require confirmation of issue)

3/11/64 - Bolton

Having acquired just one off the list of Blackpool home Lancashire Senior Cup programmes in the last couple of years, it is time for me to try again on here.

Please get in touch if you have any for sale or can confirm the actual existence of a programme for those indicated.

Scans of any (excluding Man U. and the 1953 Burnley one) would also be welcome.

3/11/64 was played at Bolton, I think you mean 13/11/64. The 2nd replay at Blackpool on 17/11 is easier to get hold of than the 1st replay.

My records show, and this is confirmed by the book 'The Lancashire Cup - A Complete Record' that the game on 3/11/64 was played at Bloomfield Road.

I have the 4 ties as

28/10 1st Rd at Bolton

3/11 1st Rd replay at Blackpool

17/11 1st Rd 2nd Replay at Blackpool

27/1 1st Rd 3rd Replay at Bolton

The programme for the game on 17/11 turns up quite a lot but the one for 3/11 is scarce.

Are there any programmes for the ties at Bolton?

I have found a scrappy little picture of the 3/11 programme taken many years ago from ebay.

This is the only time I recall seeing this one for sale on there.

Ah, it seems an error in a Bolton history book has been corrected. I got my dates from "BWFC The Official History " by Simon Marland in 2002.

Yet, the BWFC History book in 2011 also by Simon Marland has the same dates for the ties that you have.

I can't help on the ties at Bolton but would think programmes were issued.I remember the auction for the first tie at Blackpool achieving a high price and have a copy of the more common 2nd replay

For some reason I don't have the price recorded for the 3/11 programme but you are correct in thinking that it commanded a (very) high price.

At that time I think I was still after some 'regular' stuff and didn't quite push the boat out enough.

Nowadays, with the Lancashire Senior Cup being one of the main areas I am trying to complete, I would try and make sure I bid high enough to secure it.
