Help Needed To Date Programme

I am looking for some help to date a programme.

It is Slade Green v Charlton Athletic and was the opening of Slade Green's Floodlights.

My initial thoughts are it is 89/90 but could be a season either side.

Any help would be very much appreciated.

We (Millwall) played them in a friendly 25/7/1992.

The cover is mainly the same as yours but without the sponsors and the addition of 'Kent senior Trophy Winners Season 1991/92'.

This puts yours in the area you are thinking of.

Thanks for the information so far.

I probably should have added that the programme has no fixture list and not one mention of a date anywhere in it.

My deductions have come from the what looks like reserve / youth team Charlton line-up.

If it helps anyone, I will scan the other pages tonight and add them.

A bit more research and definitely believe it is 89/90 because of the Charlton team.

Mick Salmon in goal (joined Start 89/90) and Kenny Achampong (only played 89/90

Just need a date now

Around this time I worked as a sports reporter on the Kent local press and went to a lot of games. I can't provide a cutting, but my own records show the game to have been played on October 10, 1989. Attendance 500, with Charlton winning 2-0 with goals from Watson (28) and Evans (84). Hope this helps.
