Anyone tell me why this one is so expensive. It's a different cover to the one I have!

Boro produced programmes for this season with 2 different covers. This one with Downing was a very low print run and hence it is sought after. Obviously the seller is aware of this but nevertheless it does seem pricey.

Emnes and Digard feature on the other cover for this game.

Unfortunately I'm unable to answer both queries but I am aware that there a number of Boro & Spurs collectors who are short of this issue!

It will be interesting to see it it sells. If it doesn't, then obviously it's value is less than £100.

Is this version of the Spurs programme just a one off as far as a low print run is concerned, or were any other matches from the 2008/09 season thought to have a low print run too (taking into consideration the different covers for each match)?

My understanding is that it's just the Spurs game with the Downing cover that is scarce. It was the 1st home game of the season and as a consequence of the shortfall, the club learnt that similar quantities of both versions of the programmes had to be produced as the season progressed.

The only home game that didn't have two covers was the league cup tie v Yeovil.
