What is the best scanner to use for scanning badges please?

My one is great for scanning the front of badges, but not the back (as usually the pin is in the way thus making the image blurry!)
Any other tips?

I would think that nowadays most scanners are very similar.

You may have to resort to photographing the reverse rather than scanning.

I scan all my badges but it struggles with the highly reflective gold & silver parts of the badges, leaving them looking dark.

The only way to get a true image is with a hand-held digi camera really.

As an example, these badges are bright gold around the crest ...
