Ipswich v southend 1938/9 RE-PRINT CAN ANYONE HELP

I have a copy of the above programme which i have just bought as part of a small collection that was advertised on ebay.My concern is that it looks like a re-print to me(its just too clean)although the seller insists its original.I have throughly checked to see if i can find any clues but the only thing i can come up with is on the back cover there is a full page ad for electrical points and underneath that in the bottom left hand corner it says"E.A.D.T. 10M."Which doesnt seem to have any purpose.

Quite a few reprints from Ipswich 38-9 about it seems. Unfortunately it seems very likely that you've got a reprint.

Ipswich v Southend was reprinted in the 88/89 Ipswich v Sunderland programme.

I've sold old programmes before on Ebay and a Warning note appears asking if the programme is genuine. So get in touch with them if you're not offered a refund. It's not your fault you bought a replica as you can only take the guys word for it. My guess is he knew it was not a genuine copy. Iv'e seen one or two dodgy items before but the lack of bids normally confirms my guess is correct.
