I have found a match ticket in my late fathers belongings for a Semi-Final at Hillsborough on Saturday 22nd March. It's a reserved seat 40/-. It has no teams or year printed on it. He was an Albion fan but it wasn't an Albion game unless it's mis-printed for the 29th March 1969 v Leicester. Anyone throw any light on it?

According to my "The Complete Record of The FA Cup" book, no FA Cup semi finals have been played at Hillsborough on 22 March. Possibly a ticket for a replay that never took place?

I assume it's like this. This is from the 1969 F A Cup Semi-Final at Hillsborough between WBA and Leicester City.

Game was played 29th March 1969 because of a fixture pile-up due to bad weather it was put back a week. Leicester played Southampton on 22nd March. The tickets / programme were available for the re-arranged game.

Thanks to everyone for their replies. Foxes1, it's exactly as yours other than it's green in colour. I was very pleased to find his Red Star Belgrade UEFA Cup Q-F ticket stub from 1979 and his Grasshoppers Zurich UEFA Cup 1st Round ticket stub from 1981 both which I have never seen for sale
