This year saw the first ever play off between the Highland League, Lowland League and Scottish Division 2. The games involved Edinburgh City, Brora Rangers and Montrose with Montrose eventually maintaining their league status.

I have seen programme's for these games selling on Ebay for between £8 and £14!! Are these programme's really worth this sort of money? I think they could become fairly collectible but it seems a high price to be paying for them just now. Thankfully I have a complete set of them all, and paid face value for them all.

Would be interested to hear other collectors thoughts on them?

Like most current season issues I’m struggling to see where the rarity is to justify these prices, unless there was a particularly low print run at a match leading to a sell-out. I’m willing to bet that sooner rather than later you’ll struggle to sell them for more than face value. It’s just ebay collectors who don’t attend the games jumping to get a copy in case another doesn’t come along, which invariably it does.

I collect Juniors in the Scottish Cup, and there was a game last season or the one before which was a sell-out and was commanding prices upto £10/£12. I picked it up a few months back for cover price of £2.00.

I can see why they can be popular for collectors as it was the first time there had been a Pyramid playoff but I also can't see why people would pay this much for them so soon!
I was fortune enough to be at the Edinburgh city home game and then was able to buy programmes directly form Brora Rangers by post. Brora were excellent and sent the programmes out as promised.
I have a compete set and some spares that I am going to hold onto but I doubt that they will fetch much in the future.
It is always nice to pick up an old programme for face value, so well done for picking that one up.
My focus is on Spartans Scottish Cup one's and I have picked up some really deals along the way. Still need 2 to finish my collection though!!

It's probably a good job Brora never got up, look at the moaning all the BIG teams do having to come all the way to Inverness and Dingwall, up the awful A9 you would think we lived on the moon no a couple of hundred miles away. They only do it twice a season at most, we do it every 2 weeks. HHGH.
