DOES ANYONE HAVE OLD SWANSEA V WELSH CLUBS PROGRAMME SCANS?

Hi all,

One thing i've noticed recently is there are some cracking personal sites available for scans of NEWPORT, CARDIFF and WREXHAM programmes. Nicely laid out to view all historical issues like a catalogue. And i wonder why nobody has done this for Swansea?

If there is one can someone post the link?

Alternatively, i'd like to start this post for one to be created for SWANSEA TOWN/CITY versus WELSH CLUBS.

I've to be honest I struggle to find any major collectors of the jacks. Hence years of searching for a couple of programmes against Cardiff.

The club doesn't seem to have to many collectors.

Very true, i know a few collectors including myself, but they don't seem to be as popular with fans down here

Cracking site by the way, that's exactly the kind of thing clubs should endorse and actively contribute to. History and fan base should be prioritised and splashed out on with the sums of cash revenues now coming into the clubs, it would be peanuts to the money men to set these up.

I know of very few and have been collecting over 20 years.

Many Thanks - still yet to be finished but it gets a tad boring scanning 20 seasons at a time

Now the river fishing season is in full swing it won't be finished anytime soon either

Nice site but why do we need to register and how come only one programme per season?

Alot of clubs changed design mid way through seasons.

You need to register, so that I know if anyone is scraping data, alot of time and effort has gone into the site, the last thing I want is someone copying all the hard work for free. By registering I know who is visiting what. I have discussed the 'one cover' issue in another thread, I realise it doesn't give a true snapshot, but I now have plans to have a further page, so that when you click on the season it shows ALL for that season for each club, but that obviously requires alot of scanned images as well. At present this is the best way to display the details available

Also registering gives you access to features that not being logged in can't offer, such as recording which, matches you attended and what programmes you have
