Not an overly valuable card, and certainly not as cherished as my pre-war "team group" photograph postcards, but I love the advert on the back of this one from the Daily Express ...

I have a collection of topical times original in both B/W and colour.

They cover most of bigger clubs of the time.

I think there's approxiamately 80 plus of them?

Does anyone collect these? I have no real interest in them and are just sitting in a box somewhere.

They come in singles triples and face shots.

Topical Times cards are nice items and still relatively affordable. I have sets of them, missing a few of the larger b/w single player ones, so I may PM you later if that's ok?

Hi Paul

what I'll do tonight is dig them out and put a list together of the player and team.

Probably be tomorrow that they appear on here as I'm running around doing stuff today.

Is that ok?

Then you can take your pick.

Please advise what is an acceptable price is as I have no idea of their value
but I'm sure we can come to a fair arrangement ...this goes for anyone else interested.

I would rather sell as one lot.

I did some research on e-bay and the average price been asked for an individual card is £3-£6 so I'll make it £2.50 including postage.

As one lot there are 57 individual player cards (plus 3-4 duplicates)
these are what are called panel cards they are approxiamately 3"x10"

There are 7 different triple cards basically three singles of various players in one photo.

And then there are 4 colour potrait photo's of four different players.

Also if someone buys the whole lot together I'll include a 10 strip of Churchman cigarette cards I just found as well.

The whole lot I will sell for £40 inc postage.
