Just a few lines on the inaugural programme fair at Swindon.

Really positive and good attendance so congratulations for Gordons time and effort in getting this off the ground. Excellent venue ( no stairs to hump boxes up and down).

One good point made ( forget who by) was having a valuation element ...there were a couple of people who brought along bits , including a nice little lot of early forties Swindon ( not for me but I believe she got a good deal). You never know what might turn up...

Good to meet Colin from the Non League Facebook page and Phil Morgan ( Cardiff ).

I would think a worthwhile event to repeat if Gordon can be persuaded.

I actually got back to Kent quicker than from the west London fair as well!

Profitable even after my mercenary 15 yo's cut

the only downside seems to be having missed the Treble furore and what got him banned!

Oh and bloody losing to Carlisle the day before!

My thanks to everyone involved with the Swindon Fair. The attendance of over 70 exceeded expectations. Interestingly, most attendees had not been to the Bath fair back in November. Most of the collectors and stall-holders I spoke to seemed pleased with the event. Special thanks to the staff at Swindon Town who could not have been more helpful.
I firmly believe there should be more Fairs in the West Country, and I will certainly try to organise another at Swindon in 2016.
Looking ahead to next season, I am thinking of approaching Bristol Rovers to see if we could have a fair there in September, I've already had a positive response from Bath City about doing one there in November, and my current thinking would be to try Swindon next February and perhaps either Reading or Cardiff in May 2016.
Any other feedback (good or not-so-good) from other Forum members would be much appreciated.
