Does anyone know if a programme was produced for the Scotland v British Army match at Hampden which I think was played on 2nd March 1953?
Any help appreciated.

That game isn't even listed

03/03/52 Scotland beat British Army 3-1 at Newcastle
18/11/53 Scotland beat British Army 3-2 at Everton

No other games around that time

***as listed in the Scotland programme guide produced by Andy Mitchell.

Well there you go, in which case it's a non-issue as I have never seen one and it's not in the guide even as a non-issue match.

I bought my copy of Andy Mitchell's guide a couple of years ago. There is an update sheet which includes this game and it says no programme was issued.

Unlike with England, and Northern Ireland, we Scots do not seem to have been down to meet the British Army each and every season. According to my records the full run was as follows, and I append info on Mitchell's list regarding programmes:

1948-49 - 23 Feb @ Tynecastle - prog
1949-50 - x
1950-51 - x
1951-52 - 3 Mar @ Newcastle - prog
1952-53 - 2 Mar @ Hampden - no issue
1953-54 - 18 Nov @ Everton - prog
1954-55 - 17 Jan @ Rangers - (postponed)
1955-56 - 7 Dec @ Clyde - no issue
1956-57 - x
1957-58 - x
1958-59 - 12 Nov @ Hearts - prog
1959-60 - x
1960-61 - 13 Feb @ Motherwell - no issue (Scotland U23s v British Army)

Doubt a programme was printed for the postponed game in 1954-55 (it's not on Mitchell's list) as I think I saw it was postponed a few days before.
