West Brom feedback from 1914??

Below is a West Brom reserves fixture list for 1914/15 I have.

But I'm intrigued by the message below it - it's almost like EBay feedback long before EBay was even thought of!

Would love to know what made Mr.Shields so happy here....shed any light on it, Bazza? What was Bulford Camp?

Bulford Camp was used in World War one.
Shillocks was the place in Birmingham were the original FA Cup was stolen from. It was a sports outfitters so i presume they sent some boots ball or kit to Mr Shields.
If not I aint got a feckin clue.
