Reading 195/66 puzzle

Hi I am trying to get a programme from the Reading v Bournemouth game, postponed in January 1966. I believe one was issued, can anyone verify this and if so do you have one that you would be willing to sell.

When the game was finally played in March 1966 there apears to be two different covers of action scenes (one with a goalkeeper and one with a defender heading the ball). Was this normal for Reading that season?

I don't know anything about the postponed game, but that's the first I've heard about two different covers for Reading that season, will have to investiage.

Hi, thanks. Definetely two covers for this game at least: one with a no 5 heading the ball and a second with a goalkeeper catching the ball. I dont know if one of them was left over from another game and they recycled? Does seeem unusual

Bristol Rovers played at Reading twice in 1965/66.

I have one programme from each game.

The League game has the goalkeeper catching the ball. The FA Cup game has the No.5 heading the ball.

Neither cover has any match details (opposition, date etc).

I would go with the theory that these two covers were used for every game during this season? I wouldn't be surprised if both covers were used for some / most games?

Our game against them from that season has the 'keeper catching a ball with some other players standing around him, seems like they used the two covers for every game?
