Hello, I just got 1922 Programme (magazine), dated 25.5.1922. It was first time when Czech club meet with UK club, two best clubs that time with big international interest that time. Sparta Prague has made 51 straight series of winning league matches, which is still all-time record. Magazine has 10 pages, contains many informations about that Celtic tour.
I contacted Sparta Prague official office and they told me that they have this copy, but it's very rare, because all old magazines burned up with their Stadium in 1924. They don't want to provide more information about how many copies there might be around, but I didn't found any on internet. It's in Czech language, but written in "Old Czech" language containing many foreign words.
Is there any one else having one of those?

have a look there:

I saw this sell on ebay last week, it sold for £102, i'm guessing you purchased it? Celtic played SK Slavia & AC Sparta in the same week before moving on to Preussen on a three match tour,
Below is a scan from the match against Preussen on the same tour from May/June 1922.
If you are interested i am selling the below issue.

You are right, I bought it on ebay last week. I don't want to sell it, I am Sparta Prague supporter. I am just very interested about old Sparta Programmes from that years. There are not many older ones, especially because this 1922 is Year 1 of this magazine.
Thank you for your offer, but I would rather leave it to you Wink

I am just wondering if anyone has got this particular magazine or older. This is very important for booth Sparta and Czech(Slovakia) football history.

Just to add.... Celtic played two games with Sparta Prague that week, because they were so impressed with Sparta's game. Sparta won 2:1 and 2:0. There are many nice articles from Celtic captain and manager about it, even minute - by minute report from that game.

Just for info, the ebay seller mufc1144pin is reliable, as I purchased an older Prague programme/newsletter from him privately. It was from the matches in May 1911 when Aberdeen toured Bohemia! We played Slavia Prague on the 14th and 16th and this newsletter/magazine was issued on the 18th. He did me a fair price, and it is genuine, and is the oldest Aberdeen "programme" in my collection, by a long chalk!!
