Hi, Don't know if this is the place to post this query, but apologies if I am wrong!I have a leather bound volume of the Villa News & Record for the complete 1936-37 season. It is blue leather with a claret leather spine and corners. It is in good condition. Anybody got any idea of it's worth?

At auction about 6 months ago one of those went for about £2000.
Being a Villa collector myself i'd happilly take it off your hands for 50 notes .
Hope you get a good price if your selling.

Thanks. You can't remember where the auction was can you? Someone else told me they were worth a few bob but I would like to see something in black and white. Incidentally I have 9 volumes ranging from 1928 to about 1937. The 30-31 volume is the most interesting, the year Villa scored a record 128 goals in Div 1. Perhaps I could get a new car from them!

I got a new car for the wife this Christmas .. not a bad swop me thinks (out of a Christmas cracker joke?) No a realy good collection there were on earth did you obtain it from?. I have all Villas News & Record progs H/A from the 61-62 & 62-63 seasons re my collection of memo of there former player from this era Derek Dougan,and a fine read thay are too. Phil.
