Hi All,
I am conscious that the above fair is not yet listed in the drop down menu on this site so I thought I would start the ball rolling here with a list of dates for this years WEST LONDON PROGRAMME FAIR that will be held at St. Stephens Church Hall, Emperors Gate, London SW7 4HJ on the following dates in 2014:
Sunday FEBRUARY 2nd
Sunday APRIL 6th
Sunday JULY 6th
Sunday SEPTEMBER 7th
Sunday NOVEMBER 2nd

Admission is FREE Shocked (10.30 - 14.30) and there is free parking on a Sunday right outside the door.
If you are coming by public transport the nearest tube station is GLOUCESTER ROAD that is on the district, circle and piccadilly lines. (Come out of the station, turn left, cross Cromwell Road and take 1st left) about a 4 minute walk.

It's a really friendly fair and the attendances have been growing month on month throughout 2013. Hopefully this will continue in 2014.

Please feel free to contact me at:
[email protected] or on mobile 07887 808102
if you want further details or if you want me to bring anything specific for your collection to the fair.

Kind regards, Barry Dixey

Hi all,

After my last performance at giving out information (see complete muck up on the first post above) I promise to be more careful on this post!

So this coming Sunday (2nd FEBRUARY 2014) sees our first WEST LONDON PROGRAMME FAIR of the year. More about the programmes and dealers in a minute but important things first ...... Alison Lane (Martin's wife) will be running the refreshments kiosk so Bacon / Sausage sandwiches, tea / coffee etc. will be in plentiful supply. Please give her your support as we want this to become a regular feature at the fair.

Dealers attending will be myself BARRY DIXEY; MARK BARNES; IAN HANDS; MARTIN LANE; GORDON BENNETT; ALEX FAIRBURN; PHIL SHARRAD; LES EASTERBROOK; JOHN DEE; FOOTBALL TRADER; TREVOR JONES; PETER BLUNDEN & ELMO BOOKS. So it's a full house and you will be spoilt for choice.

As always the doors open at 10.30 sharp (in fairness to all we do not allow early admissions) and the fair is only a 4 minute walk from Gloucester Road tube station.

If you are coming and want me to bring anything specific please send me an e-mail a couple of days before the fair and I will do my best to have a selection of what you require.

Look forward to seeing you there.

Reference my earlier post, please note that the following FAAC Semi-Final programmes are now no longer available, having already been snapped up by a couple of quick-off-the mark collectors:
51 Bishop Auckland v Bromley (at Leeds), 52 Barnet v Leyton (at Tottenham), 54 Crook v Walthamstow (at Sunderland), 55 Hounslow v Hendon (at Tottenham) and Bishop Auckland v Wycombe (at Doncaster), 60 Crook v Kingstonian (at Newcastle), 62 Crook v West Auckland (at Middlesbrough), 69 Skelmersdale v Hendon (at Derby) + Replay (at Southport), 72 Blyth Spartans v Enfield (at Newcastle) and 73 Highgate Utd v Walton & Hersham (at Coventry) + Replay (at Cr Palace).

Also, (silly me!) I forgot to mention in my earlier post the rarest of the FAAC Final Replay progammes I now have available:
1954 Crook Town v Bishop Auckland (1st replay at Newcastle; Excellent condition apart from feint horizontal fold and neatly written attendance on team page) £56,
1954 Crook Town v Bishop Auckland (2nd replay at Middlesbrough; Excellent condition apart from minor staple rust and neatly written team changes) £118, and
1956 Bishop Auckland v Corinthian Casuals (Replay at Middlesbrough) £96.
These can be reserved by emailing me on [email protected].

Just to remind any Arsenal & Palace fans attending the game at The Emirates this coming Sunday to visit the West London programme fair.

We are just a 4 minute walk from Gloucester Road tube station on the District Line.

As Barry stated earlier in the post attendances have been growing steadily at the fair & hopefully we will see some new faces on Sunday.

Cheers
Martin
