I shouldn't have taken offence at the wife talking to me during the Barca/Rayo Vallecano game on saturday night, but in the ensuing slanging match she took herself off to bed early.

Given that Danny had played saturday this weekend against Barnsley, and remarkably still had all his teeth, for once I had a free sunday. The wife still wasn't talking to me, so I decided to head north to Leeds.

Mr Hewitt, had a crewe/sheff utd programme from 47/8 during the summer and if he still had it, I thought I might relieve him off it, so he could retire to the Bahamas on the proceeds.

The venue was Billy's bar at Elland Road its easy to find as its the only pub in Leeds that usually, still has all its windows intact after saturday night.

I arrive at 11:15am,. The aforementioned programme is purchased and I then spend another lazy hour going through a number of boxes to little avail apart from a nice Bury 45/6.

Kickoff Programmes is also there, always friendly and approachable, but a little too much leeds bias for my tendancies, but hey that's perfectly understandable.

I apologize for not knowing the chubby guy who I have conversed with on many occasions, usually about Jimmy Hagan, who sells cards, and signed memorabilia. Things were fine until he mentioned that Preston had tore United to pieces the day before. I admit we're watching shite but I don't need to listen to it as well. Laughing

I round off the day talking to Gordon from Westward Programmes who has travelled many a mile. Nice bloke, I like the way he has his programmes labelled, makes a real difference for me, and very reasonable too. Deserves a lot of credit for putting in the hours. I took a couple of programmes home for the boys collection, and he thanked me for some petrol money. I suspect he may have run out at Hunslet.

All in all, enjoyable couple of hours, made even better for the fact that the house was empty, as the wife had left me and had took the kids to her mothers. Smile Unfortunately, she came back, because she wanted to watch Downton!!! Sad

PS: Sorry no pictures, I'm not infoman. People should thank me because in all honesty, I don't think Mick Hewitt, Kick Off, Gordon and the Chubby guy are reight photogenic. Surprised
