Have never done an antique fair before so as the wife's away for the day thought I'd ring up the organisers and see about a table. 150 tables at the fair, so a big do. There'll be some Talbot programmes on sale, mainly big match from the last 27 years, and money from these will be going to the Beechwood Regeneration Fund.

As well as the Talbot stuff, there'll be some of my own football memorabilia, there'll be Wisdens from the 1940's, 1950's, and 1960's as well as some old scorecards (mainly 1950's Surrey) There's also brewerania (think that's what they call it) where I'll be having some 19th century / early 20th century beer and lemonade bottles, plus some full bottles of ale going back to 1929. Rugby books and other bits and bobs on sale as well. Fair's from 10am until 4pm if anyone's interested. There'll also be some Talbot programmes on sale, mainly big match from the last 27 years, and money fromt hese will be going to the Beechwood Regeneration Fund.

Hello,

Are there any new events in Edinburgh during August/September?

Kind regards.

Absolutely no idea, it was a one off for me. The fairs there are monthly though I believe.

I have to say that I quite enjoyed it, for the brief time I was there.

If it wasn't for the fact that my small offspring wanted feeding, I could have quite happily spent a couple of hours there. Smile
