Newcastle United 1952/53 Homes ?????

I'm trying to compile a list of the Newcastle players that were featured on the front cover of the programmes during 1952-53 season.

I have a list here, of all the first team games with the names of the players I know of, plus information on 1 reserve game v Manchester United.

http://cartophilic-info-exch.b.....ed-fc.html

Since compiling that original list I've found out that the 29 November, 1952 Portsmouth programme featured Ronnie Simpson.

Can anyone help with any others?

Thanks

Alan

Blackpool 28th March was George Robledo (shown as Geo. Robledo) who I note was also featured on the PNE programme from September.

Frank Brennan is on the cover of (my) Swansea (14/1/53) programme.

On your list you have Joe Harvey (have they printed more than one cover???).

PS. Just curious, anyone have an explanation why they produced 2 Swansea Town programmes? Seems really strange - just four days apart

Looking on wikipedia it has the date of the game as 14th January and says some games were postponed on the 10th Jan so possibly they did a new programme for the rearranged game.

I noticed that this website has cards featuring Rangers strips throughout the years , do you require dates for them ?

I would be only too happy to oblige Laughing

If you could, that would be great. The illustration shows 21 of the 40 cards in the set. I presume, from what little I know, that they are numbered in chronological order.
