hi

As a first and last at grounds collector, I'd be obliged if anyone could kindly obtain me 3 copies of the programme next weekend. The extra copies are for fellow prognologists, not for ebay.

Happy to pay upfront inc postage - apparently it's a special 106 page edition costing a fiver.

Many thanks for any help - please drop me a PM.

Paul

I've emailed Barnet but as expected they haven't bothered replying.

Plenty on ebay, but daft prices for something with a fiver cover price.

One ebayer who may well also be a well-known dealer originally had 10 listed on a BIN for £10, then increased it to £12.50 when there was 4 of those left.

These sold, and another batch has now been listed at £15.00 each.

Supply and demand? Just a dealer making a profit? Or blatent profiteering?

Yes Brentside are being a little greedy, but i guess he made the effort to drive down there and help it be a sell out (unless they printed thousands). Current season issues often attract a large premium shortly after the match then come down to their true value.

Just looked on the Barnet web site and they are available @ £5 plus post!!!!!!!!!

I've bought from Brentside before, and will do again no doubt.

I've no problems with dealers, none whatsoever.

I'm also very aware of the BIN fees on Ebay and the general selling/paypal costs - probably accounting for anything up to £2.00 per programme.

I just think it puts them in a bad light the way their pricing has gone upwards.

And the postage is well OTT at £3 when the issue appears to be a perfect bound smaller type similar to quite a few Premiership issues.

The BIN fees I mentioned earlier may well be covered by some of the margin on the postage alone!

No doubt the programmes will find their true level, but I never expected a dealer to be driving the prices up quite so obviously....maybe I'm naive.

Interesting debate though.

Confused

The programme can be purchased here at cover cost (£5.00).

The programme did sell out on the day of the game. I guess the programmes above are part of that reprint 'boyspen' is referring to. I'm not sure if there are any variations from the original programme and the reprint.
