Hi,
I'd say your probably looking at several thousand pounds, the official programme sells for £8000-£10000 & the WH Smiths 4-page souvenir programme goes for £5000-£7000, tickets don't always sell for as much as the programmes, especially FA Cup finals but if it were me i wouldn't sell for less than £1500-£2000, try contacting one of the major sporting auction houses, Budds have an auction in May so it wouldn't be too late to enter it in to their next one or sportingold have an auction ever few months, the next one is in April,

you have 2 very rare items.

with something as rare as this it is difficult to value as they are not bars of chocolate with a recommended retail price.
The replay was at Old Trafford and no official programme was printed for the replay.
The only thing that appears out there for this game is a pirate programme which i have in my own collection. This is the only one i have ever seen.
The best way to find out what it is worth is to do as Cossie says and get it in a high profile auction such as Graham Budd's to see how many people you can get fighting for it.
The replay ticket alone would be of interest to Bradford City fans,Newcastle United fans(who pay up),FA Cup final collectors(who pay up),possibly the National Football Museum collection(who pay up),Manchester United ticket collectors(who pay up).
The list is endless.
You do not want to accept any offer. You need to get to auction.
Only word of caution is that about a year or so ago a lot of tickets from this era came up for sale and all were fakes.
Some people on this forum got their arses slapped and people went to prison for fraud.
You need to be sure what you have.
Most of the members on this forum are very happy to help.Only a few will try to get your quality items cheap.
You could do worse than posting scans of your items so members with an interest could give you a better opinion

Agree with the above - sadly for some collectors they'll be priced out of these much sought-after items but that's life and auction is your best bet of a top price.

Treble99, where can we find more on that story of the fake early Cup Final tickets? What gave it away that they were fakes in the end and how was the whole swindle put together? More to the point, what can be learnt from this to help us all avoid such a fate in the future?

The Music:

It was simple: trust your judgement.

The seller was using various different ebay IDs, often with absurd stories of being a retired woman selling off her husband's collection. There was multiple shill bidding going on (this is harder to spot now ebay masks IDs, but still possible). Items which you would normally expect to see every five years were turning up every month...

Ebay don't seem to care about this sort of thing. I collect England tickets but have simply had to accept that I am never going to get my hands on a genuine 1950 or 1962 World Cup ticket, ebay is awash with fakes. One day someone will sell a genuine 1950 WC Engand v USA, I have NEVER seen this, then a few weeks later they will be turning up every week.....

Goodness Me!!,

CHECK THE DATE OF THE PAUL ROSS AND COSSIE POSTS-THEY WERE 2 YEARS AGO!!! : Sherlock
It is unlikely that Paul Ross [aka several others] posted as he is in the nick!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! : Easy

Still I am sure he will heed Treble99 advise when he is out so he can consider his options with the many early cup final tickets he has/he had/ he can continue to produce, i would give him an easier recomendation of what to do with any and where to insert them Laughing
