Having one of the largest daily drops on a regular basis in the village, I know most of our posties personally, and have given them 100% support for the forthcoming strike. Yes it'll inconvenience me, but these folk really do need whatever support they can with such a draconian management as Royal Mail though.
What is it with old public school types, who are usually congenitally defect in the brain area that they think they can run a major industry via diktat? Crozier did his best to f**k up the Football Associaton, now he's doing similar with Royal Mail. If there's a picket line in the village at the Post Office I'll be there with them when I finish my night shift tonight. Royal Mail's too precious for it to be decimated by an idiot and his stooges, whilst Mandelson looks on "beyond anger" Pity he wasn't that with the bankers. Oh, I forgot, he was "very relaxed" about them having "obscene wealth" Pass the guacamole Mandy!

Well said... top man.. I posted a special delivery for my father at 17.00 and it arrived 300 miles away at 7.15 the next day. And all for a fiver. Idiots like Crozier will destroy all of this and walk away with millions in their pockets. and then what?? It i'll cost a fiver just to send a normal letter..and if you live in a small village in the country then forget it. People won't know how much they need the post until it's gobbled up by foreign firms...

I think they are holding back on the adverts till people start getting their copies so they are not at a disadvantage. Not sure why your copy has not arrived yet. I'm posting letters and they are arrivng next day.

I am waiting for 3 other parcels off ebay that should have been posted last week,so think it will be stuck in a sorting office somewhere.
I live about 4 miles from the Reebok but get the programmes posted to me.The Chelsea issue was posted on Friday and arrived today.
I have never known the service to be so slow.
