David Pegg and Army matches

I have several programmes from the early fifties in which United players represented the Army ,Foulkes,Charlton ,Colman ,& Duncan Edwards.However I have never seen any mention of David Pegg representing Army etc.Was he never selected perhaps?I should probably know this at my age ,but unfortunately I dont.Can any United supporter enlighten me if there is any Army,RAF ? programmes that mention David?
