Isn't it about time some clubs got back into the real world regarding ticket prices, for our game next week v Swansea we are charging away fans £25.00 with variuos reductions for students U-16'S etc, but you do sit in a fairly modern stadium.

If you are going to see your team at Ipswich best take out a mortgage or loan now, Leicester fans are being charged £31.00 with U-16's £11.00, absoultely ridiculous, will be very interesting to see what other clubs charge for away fans.

Burnley have upped their match day prices from £19 to £35 Sad

One of the downsides to being promoted to the Premier League I suppose....

Still, I got my season ticket free, so I'm ok!

Our admission for adults has gone up 60% this coming season.. Shocked
The price you pay for promotion from Step 5 to Step 4 I suppose.. and it had been a fiver for 13 years so can't complain too much.

Think Admission prices for football games are ridiculous for the amount of entertainment you get, Someone done an analysis once of how much playing time is in a football match and the results were between 45 and 60 minutes of actual playing time, the rest of the time the ball was out of play (throw ins, corners, free kicks, etc).

A mate asked me if i wanted to join him at a Gills game last season and said the tickets were £20, £20 for 4th tier english football, they can go and do one. Some of the teams in the prem charge £32-£35 a ticket, and tbh you could see a better game down the local park.

I used to attend at least 25 games a season from 90/91 to 04/05 and was fortunate enough to see some great professional players, Mabbutt, Pallister, Linekar, Rush, Shilton, Gary Speed, Zola to name a few.

Don't have tikets in the Junior game. Still a fiver for the Super League, albeit you can still get in at half tie for nowt if you're that way inclined.
Can still change ends at half time - we go behind the goals every game. Drink is freely available before, during (half time), and after the game. However, some of the neds like to show their class with the Bucky in between those spells.
There used to be no segregation until our neds thought they'd try and flex their "muscles" at a couple of the big games in the Junior Cup last year. Now, unfortunately, we do have limited segregation where the opportunity for trouble could arise.
Mutton and onion scotch pies at half time - superb, and there were rumblings last year when they went up to £1. Superb crack on the terraces.
Prawn sandwiches, £30 per seat, matchday experience? You can shove them all where the sun don't shine. Auchinleck's got the lot.

I remember in the early 70s thinking about going to see wolves away at juventus in the UEFA cup. It cost £27 for the flight, 2 nights hotel and a ticket for the game. I told my mate that Id never ever pay that to see the wolves anywhere it was a rip off, and if the price of a game went over 5 bob i'd never watch the Wolves again. Unfortunately, i was proved wrong, and my addiction still holds strong!

£8 to watch Hucknall. No segregation, drink available throughout the game which is a bonus as I lost count of the amount of times last season when I stayed in the bar rather than go out and watch the 2nd half.

I wouldnt change it for the world, banter with the away fans and being able to walk all the way round the ground.

I am able to get in for free but choose to pay as clubs at this level need the money.

Romford? Yeah, if it happens, give me a shout and I'll get you a pint.

If its in the later rounds we might segregate though as we know what 'glory huntning' West Ham fans are like following the laughable wannabees that attached themselves to Grays at the FA Trophy final Laughing

We have lots of them waiting in the wings for matches various.. Smile
I was at Villa Park that day too and wondered how many 'so-called' Grays' fans actually knew where the club they were watching play...

We charge £20 for 3 of our stands, but £22 for the main stand. Personally, i think this is too much for league one football. Fair enough when we're playing the bigger teams like Leeds, Charlton, Southampton etc. but too much when we play the lower teams. It should be priced accordingly.
