Yes welcome to the exclusive club for Champions who are not Champions.
One day a team will win the "Champions League" who have never won their domestic League.

Well what needs to be done? Changing name to just European League/cup?
Just having the Champions of each league? That would be interesting Watching The English, Spanish, italian & german Champions battle it out every year!
The way the game is now no other countrys leagues can compare, maybe the Portugese and French would put up a fight but not a good one. Nod
Liverpool won it when they were not in top four and had ALOT of luck along the way, and were no where near challenging for titles, and had not been challenging for about 15 years!
