Yes thanks for thinking of me Holtie re Doog item ,and i do have it in my collection thanks Pete,

I seamed to have cornered the market at the mo re all things Doog (not saprising realy has i have been collecting memo re him on and off over the last 50 odd years ) have not picked anything up know for what seames like ages.

I am always on the look out for items re his time at Leicester City 65 to 67 but for some strange reason there is not a lot around witch i find realy strange has he was a big star player there in the day ....or have i been looking in the wrong places all these years ?.

Yes, it's odd re the Doog at Leicester, I have loads of Leicester photos in the 60's but none of them show him and I don't recall ever seeing one in the 10 years or more I've been doing this.

I'll keep looking - you never know what's round the corner.

As I mentioned a while back, Dougan barely rates a mention in the early/mid 60s editions of Football Monthly. Despite his relative fame.

It's as if the football establishment of the time disapproved of him....
