don't you just hate it when you have to scroll through oodles of detail to decide whether to part with £750!!!
Of course I might be missing out on a bargain if they have been passed from "generation to generation"- they might be pre-war....but I doubt it- generous postage though for "thousands" of programmes!!!

If I was an Everton collector I would definitely be asking for details of dates and exactly how many.

As they are still on sale I expect they are the usual 'old' programmes dating from the 70s onwards.

Very generous postage though.

Yes plenty of detail in there to folk out £750 . They could be all pre war then again I might have won the lottery last night. I like the postage charge of £1.24 for 1000s of programmes

I asked what was included, not even as old as 70's, this is what I was told "80s and 90s, there's all sorts mates it's a big box full haven't even been through them properly there's also newspapers the 80s and teamsheets. There's a lot of season bundles."
Not a bargain then.

I got the same response and felt the urge to reply to him as follows

Hi unfortunately that era are not worth anywhere near the asking amount.

Those type of programmes sell for around 4p each tops in bulk at specialist football programme auctions so if you need the money that quickly I would drop the price by a huge amount. Even if you had 3000 you will struggle to get £200. Sorry for the bad news

I got a 2nd reply from him asking the value of 80's programmes so I'm guessing he's no expert. I told him he would lucky to sell them, and to check the completed listings to see most from that era go unsold.

He has just offered me them all for £250!!

The thing is , there maybe a rare single sheet or something sought after amongst that lot. I doubt it, but you never know. But honestly , you'd be mad to pay £20 unless he can be bothered to give a decent description.

He has now offered me them for £200 its getting less but is avoiding the question of amount just saying thousands and no team details as I have asked if all everton or others. So I have asked him to count them and get back to me.......
