Can't see Paulo raising his feathered head on here much in the next week or so.. Very Happy
Have a soft spot for Col U as they looked after us so well at their new ground last season in the Essex Senior Cup.
Has to be the result of the season already..

Impressive Rocky, your lads are improving Very Happy

Thought a draw fair though, we started off well, a few early chances but the two teams seemed to negate each other more the game went on.

What`s up at norwich?, an 8 goal home thriller to kick the season off with. Fans chucking season tickets at the manager, others leaving early, anybody would`ve thought they`d just been stuffed 7-1 by colchester.

Oh

Great game in prospect next week then, we managed a grand total of two on target today (although admittedly one of them was more of a pass back).

Deepest sympathies Paulo, its bad enough going into league 1, but then to get hammered, by local(ish) rivals, you must be gutted mate!

Welcome to league 1, Paulo. Very Happy

In all seriousness though, hope things sort themselves out at Carrow Road.

Can certainly agree with that after the last 2 seasons. It's going to be a good season in League 1 if any one can beat anyone.

Norwich look good as favourites though.... Laughing Laughing

We thought it was last season, seriously though you need the right mentality to win it and treat teams in Lge 1 with respect and not thinking that you just have to turn up to win.

Not sure why you think our fans think that, I can assure you most dont. With our board and hopeless manager I have always thought we would be lucky to make top half this season!

Think a lot of us in L1 didn't get the result they were expecting.
I for one thought we would start of with 3 points but Orient hadn't read the script.
Well done Dookie your lot deserved it. Were you there?

My day did start well though, hearing that Swindon had been stuffed. Thank you GFC

Congrats to ..... Rotherham United !!! First club to break their attendance record this season with a fantastic 10,254 gate at the Don Valley Stadium against Accrington yesterday. Easy

Cardiff City Stadium is also a fantastic addition to our sporting venues in the UK! Thumbs Up

Lets see if this seasons attendances can break more records than last, a whopping 11 records broken in 2008/09! Cool
