Hartlepools United 1934-35

I'm looking for Hartlepools United programmes from 1934-35. My grandfather was the centre-forward and top scorer there for that season.

The only one I have so far is New Brighton (away) from 23 February 1935.

Ian Good luck but you have got more chance of winning the lottery than obtaining Newcastle v Chelsea 1930/1 + Hartlepool pre war and if you do be prepared to pay around £500 to £1,000 each.

I expect that'll be the case. The Man Utd vs Newcastle programme from 1930 was in that bracket.

If I can't get the originals, I'll be more than happy with scans of the pages so I can include them in the history I'm compiling of my grandfather's playing career.

Have you tried obtaining Match reports as they are easier to obtain.

Unfortunately I'm afflicted with a condition known as "not doing easy."

As a matter of fact I have the match reports for the season for 1934-35 from Hartlepool library, and I'm working my way through the away versions of the reports too. I have the disease, well and truly! My intention is to put together the collection of transcribed reports into book format, for us as a family.

Im not sure anyone on here can help you. Ive spent 35 years+ dealing and i have never seen most of your wants.. If you get a couple of items a year through here, Ebay, Fairs and Auctions you have done well.
