Both under massive amounts of pressue, and I think with only another couple of bad results one of them will be sacked soon. If Cheslea have a poor result midweek, then there game with Bolton becomes ever more bigger. Arsenal play Spurs next week which they need to win to keep themselves in the top four. _________________ Please check out my wants list |

I can't see either being sacked, and if Arsenal think they can find a better manager then the one they have then they deserve to fail. Personally I think they are doing very well to still be able to compete considering the money they give the manager compared to the Manchester twins and the russian mob.
Speaking of the russians, I don't think they sack him even if Blues knock them out the cut. I think they'll invest heavy next season with the like of Lamps, Dropper, Terry and a few more being moved on. They have a hell of a lot of young talent there which I think they should just let out and trust like Man U do.
For me the next managers to change clubs might be Harry and Roy but not sackings. |

Arsenal will never sack Wenger because to the owners , results mean nothing. As long as the ground is full of japanese tourists paying £70 a time the American owners are making $$$$. The Arsenal fans won't protest because their aren't any left, only middle class supporters who are too polite and think protesting is rather vulgar. The only crisis they would get worked up about is if the wine ran out... |

Thanks Wullie !!!!!
As the sole non middle class, not very polite, likes to protest and doesn't drink wine Arsenal season ticket holder, I'd like to say that personally I don't care if we win trophies every season. How much sweeter is it when you have seasons like 1952/53....1970/71.....1988/89.....2003/04.
When you look at those seasons there wasn't that much trophy winning in between. I agree that Arsenal are crap, the players don't seem to have a clue what to do and it was clear that Sunderland/Milan/Swansea etc wanted to win at all costs, and we don't.
Let Wenger finish his contract with dignity, support the club even though sometimes you want to pull your hair out and wait for the glory days to return. _________________ "We have a problem with Sol Campbell" Arsene Wenger. 04/02/06 |

I don't know what it is with Arsenal players this season more then past. But I suspect they are taking the lead from their manager and expecting to get a free kick everytime they lose the ball. Seems also to be a hell of a lot waiting for something to happen rather then making it happen. |

I was speaking to a Spurs fan the other day, and he said they must build a bigger stadium to compete with the elite. I guess they want to make the same mistake as others. Once the novelty wears off, the traditional working class are forced out by prices, and you are left with a half interested middle class/ tourist crowd.
The 26,000 for a Cup tie v Arsenal yesterday was terrible, made all the worse by a massive stadium. Gone off topic, sorry. |

How things change in a few weeks.
All of a sudden Arsenal have some dignity and Chelsea have no manager again!
Why can't Roman stop playing with his toy and let football do the talking, I'm sure Chelsea would be up there with Barcelona if they were allowed to mature. _________________ "We have a problem with Sol Campbell" Arsene Wenger. 04/02/06 |

Arsenal might have a bit of dignity after last nights game, but Milan's finishing was awful. What struck me was the lack of strengh on the bench to push for the winner. That is down to the manager. I still think wenger has had he's day, and if they did a Chelsea and got rid of him a few years back, maybe they would have a few trophies in the cabinet by now. |

Arsenal have a great strategy in place and once their stadium is paid for they will be raking it in - a lot of other football clubs could do with taking a look at how Arsenal run their football club as a business and make profit! |

looking at Rangers and Portsmouth you could be right. No one really knows how this Financial Fair Play rules is going to work out. At this rate Chelsea could be using all their available cash to pay off their managers... |

Forget the financial fair play rules, just completely forget them. Real Madrid and Barcelona absolutely haemorrage cash but do you really think that UEFA would ban them from the Champions League?
Although another thing to consider is that teams in administration can't play in Europe, so that's another thing that Rangers look like they'll miss out on, providing they make it to the summer. |
