13/01/1990 for Stockton v Alnwick Town

I missed out on a Alnwick v Shilbottle 1950 recently which annoyed me a bit. Was waiting to get some more funds into my account and it was sold during that time.

For my Sunderland programmes I still need to put them on a spreadsheet and check, but I think I've got a few from the 70's.

So not that old yet, but hopefully it'll get there.

So thanks to coming on this website my oldest Alnwick Town programme is now from 1985, so progress is being made.

Having checked my Sunderland programmes, the oldest is from 1972.

I recently picked up a Kidder-minster fc programme, also involving an athletics club, dated 1878.

Hi. New member so forgive me if this is old news.

My oldest is a Heeley Friends v Sale Memorial played at Brammel Lane in 1903-04 - typical Sheffield Unite issue of the time I think, but not in the best of condition.

My favourite pre-war Wolves issue is the home FA Cup tie against Liverpool in 1938-39. Got this on ebay 3/4 years ago for £29. The pratt selling it had it down as pre-season issue as it had no match details on the front. He had three on sale at the same time. It's just a pity I could not get te other three.

Barrow v Darlington 30th September 1922 Division 3 North 22/23 season.

The programme is the oldest known Barrow AFC programme still in existence.

Was this the one sold at sportingold for something like £2600 a year or two back? Anyone know which catalogue it was in if it was?

I personally would like to find a 21/22 Darlington v Halifax 27th August 1921 opening match in Division 3 North, i know who has one but doubt it will ever come up for sale

That would have been the very first football league fixture for Barrow AFC and one hell of a find.
I'll wait to see if it's existence is confirmed, but I would love to own that programme for sure Love

HAHAHA No one ever dropped anything on me like that!!
That is the stuff dreams are made off, or finding the old suitcase in some old boy's loft teeming with issues from the turn of the century.

Everything i have ever acquired over 3 collections and since 1962 has been found one item at a time-painstakingly!, never purchased anyones near complete or indepth collection of anything like others have.
